07 Jul 2024. Dr. Chaitali Diwan won the Ravi Ravindran medal for her PhD thesis entitled “AI BASED NARRATIVE ARC GENERATION FOR COHERENT AND ENGAGING LEARNING EXPERIENCE” at the 24th Convocation of IIIT Bangalore.

07 Jul 2024. Vijay Jaishankar and Siva Jagadesh M won the Student of the Year award and the Best All Rounder Award at the 24th Convocation of IIIT Bangalore.

11 May 2022. Vijay Jaishankar, Vignesh Bondugula, and Siva Jagadesh M won an award for the best presentation based on live audience voting, in the International Conference on Simulation of Urban Mobility (SUMO). They presented their work on simulating traffic flows in Electronics City Phase 1, along with several intervention measures like placing speed cameras, placing adaptive traffic lights, and estimating congestion at different intersections.

9 Oct 2020. The paper entitled “Social Capital as Engagement and Belief Revision” authored by Gaurav Koley, Jayati Deshmukh and Srinath Srinivasa awarded the best paper award at the 12th International Conference on Social Informatics (SocInfo 2020). Link to the paper

7 Aug 2020. Prakhar Mishra awarded certificate of our appreciation during Q2 of 2020 for the work put into projects, workshops, online meetups and more while being Student Ambassador @intelsoftware.

17 June 2020. Raksha P S presented a webinar talk titled “Introduction to Web Science”. Talk was organised by Global Institute of Management Sciences, Bangalore.

28 Nov 2019. Prakhar Mishra is selected as Intel AI Academy Student Ambassador at Intel Corporation, Bengaluru, IN.
The award includes  following: * Student Amabassador gets to use any of their services (devcloud, etc) for the purpose of his/her research free of cost. They will fund the his/her research as well in due course if they see potential in his/her work. s/he will have internship opportunities with Intel AI division. All travel will be reimbursed for any event that s/he will attend hosted by them. * The student ambassador’s responsibilities are writing blogs for them about the research, give seminars and probably host couple of them. * The program has currently around 80-90 people in India across different colleges that are Intel SA.
