Dev Shinde

Dev Shinde is an M.S. Research Scholar at the Web Science Lab, IIIT-Bangalore, working under the guidance of Prof. Srinath Srinivasa.

At the Web Science Lab, he is currently working on developing a unified framework that addresses the challenges of cross-jurisdictional data sharing while ensuring compliance with various regulatory requirements. His work aims to bridge the gap between theoretical data protection principles and practical implementation methodologies in the context of global data flows.

His research interests include data governance, digital public infrastructure, privacy frameworks, and interoperable systems architecture.

Ashashree Sarma

Ashashree is a MS Research Scholar at the Web Science Lab, IIIT- Bangalore. She is currently working in the “Generative AI-Driven Navigated Learning for STEAM Education” project, under the guidance of Prof Sushree Behera and Prof Srinath Srinivasa.

Her research orientations are in Multi Modal Diffusion Models, Network and Intervention Science, Semantic analysis, Knowledge and Dialogue systems. She was formerly working as a Research Intern in Da’ Spatio Rhobotique Lab in IIT Guwahati, and has gained both research and industry work experience in different domains of Data Science and AI.

Suhan Roy

I am currently pursuing Masters by Research in the Web Sciences Lab here at IIIT Bangalore. Prior to joining IIITB I have worked in Capgemini Engineering for three years as a Senior Associate and also worked as a Research Assistant in The Visual Conception Group Lab at IIIT Delhi. I am currently working on the Online Learning Navigator Project in partnership with Gooru Labs. My Research Interests are Optimizations in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Vision Language Models.

Anurag Mohanty

Anurag is a MS Research (Part-time) Student at Web Science Lab, IIT- Bangalore. His research interests are in Cognitive computing, Semantic analysis, NLP,  Knowledge Representation and Reasoning methods, Knowledge and Learning systems.

He has around 16 years of working Industry Experience in Software Development, Solution Architecture, Machine Learning and Data Science. He is currently working as a Data Scientist in IBM Pvt. Ltd. His prior formal education background includes B.E. in Computer Science and MBA (Finance).
